Widjajono told his experience when he was hiking Himalaya. When descending the mountain, his friend and he were in the spot with not much oxygen which made them dizzy. They decided to walk faster but Widjajono who was walking slower than his friends met a monk.
The Monk said, “Do not walk too fast! Don’t waste your energy in rush! You must respect this mountain and synchronize yourself with the mountain. If you keep harmony between you and this mountain, nature will accept you. If you are in rush, you waste your energy.”
Yup, Don’t waste your energy in rush! We need respect the process. We need respect our life.
Sometimes, we try or work too hard and ignore our health to get money faster. Sometimes, single person wastes energy in rush to get spouse when he or she sees her or his friends have been married.
However, the writer changes the monk with Yetti to fabelize his friend’s experience.
